Pretty wacky thread. I started using Powerbait and Nitro trout scents last year. I find the yellow paste is a bit of a pain and when I got big clumps of it on the lure / hook it would change the action of the lure. I've been using the Powerbait (I think thats the name) that is like a syrup and easier to use. I can't tell if its helping or not, but it probably can't hurt. I think my improved catch is more a function of better tactics thanks to what I've learned here on the board...Eric
