over the years ive ruined hundreds of streamers, they usually get wet in planos, rust, get all matted. some even got ruined still in the origional packaging because when those get wet they wont dry out. i bought this wooden box at a show and it seems to dry out fast enough after getting wet and the box is so nice i pay special attention to keep the box safe from getting wet and always make sure to open it after the trip is over to aid in drying. if i didnt buy a really nice box to put them in, i wouldnt take care of them as well, i think this box was about 90 dollars maybe ten years ago. way over kill, but i cringe everytime a see a ruined fly cause those cost alot also. planos trap water and ruin flies, the origional fly packages trap water and ruin flies, those lambs wool wallets get wet and ruin flies, you need something that dries fast and doesnt stay wet
