Hiker found in good condition, only one's hurt were a few fisherman. I hope nobody thimks I'm an non-caring, cold son af a ----.
I thinks it's great that Fish and Game can do this if they were "fat and had an excess of funds". And I think they should still do it (funds or not) if they are the best for the task and it seems they are, but I think they should be re-imbursed the cost. Maybe they are and we are crying for not ?????
At least the guy was found safe, I'm glad we could all be a part of it.
it really doesnt make sense that anyone can go out and buy some hiking gear and head up to the mountains in the winter without a clue to what hes doing and we who have been trolling in boats for 20 plus years need a boater safety class to go 2.2 miles per hour. not to say this guy didnt know what he was doing, but it happens all the time. i fish so i have a liscense, i dive so i have my padi certification, if your climbing in the winter, there should be some type of permit or certification, its not the safest sport.
