I missed the turn today down roberts cove but I am sure they are getting on the ice near the launch. If I remember correctly this is where you told me you get on. Mabie later this week I can check it out for ya if so I will report it.

I saw the guy with the portable bob house in Ctr. Hrb. this am.
Not sure that was a good idea!
But the good news is that it is getting locked up.
Trav and I and others hiked up Bald Peak off 109 yesterday where you get great view of lake. As of yesterday everything on north side of Moultoboro Neck was froze and south side was open. But this am from the Center Harbor end it looked frozen all the way to Long Island.
My guess is if weather continues with cold nights that you could fish some of the northern bays....that is some of the good white perch grounds. Yahoo!

I was at Harrila landing yesterday the ice was locked up all the way acrossed to little bear island and to the hole in the wall. looking south towards the borads the was ice out to about the south end of sandy. Looking south from long island bridge there appeared to be ice out to chase point and all the way down to the barber's pole. I don't think i would go out to far on any of this ice right now but we are definaly gettin there. For those of us in the southern part of the state last firday I was doing doing ice rescue traing with the Manchester fire dept we were training on cystal lake and lake massebisic. An in both lakes there appeared to be about 2 to 3 inches of ice where the wate was shallow but after walking out into the lake over deeper water or where there was any current at all we esaily broke though in places where the was and inch or less of ice. So be carful out there

Thanks for the ice update. I'm so ready for ice fishing! And this week it's going to get cold! Single digits around thursday and friday! Next week looks cold too. We're making ICE! I hope the main lake freezes. We had 8inches out there last year in FEB.. Be safe if your out this weekend...

I will keep up the info best I can for everyone along with pics. Just keep in mind I am not saying its safe out on the lake yet. I will keep my eyes on the first people on the lake as well as asking questions when I see people fishing before me. Glad to help!!
