I talked to some fisherman yesterday at Alton bay and was informed that they had 6+ inchs where that camper is in the pics below but it was still around 4 inchs in spots. they are trying to get to sandy island thats where they like to fish. They also said that they spoke to some guys that came thru from sandy and said the ice was spotty as well with 6 inchs in some places and 4 inchs in others. so its making ice just be super carefull and talk to others before going out!!
