the pond i live on down here has a no motor rule, there are a few small pontoon boats that use those motors for putzing around, but they only go out for a couple hours and then recharge. on a boat your size they will troll fast enogh for lakers, but you wont be trolling for long. i have a 12 volt vantage minnkota that ive used for handlining lakers at .6 mph, i had to idle the main motor the whole time to keep the battery charged and i dont know how that would work with a 36 volt system
