Actually the Rotary's meeting is tonight. I will let you know what I hear tomorrow. With the cold weather and ice I think the Derby is good to go! Saw a truck and car on ice in Center Harbor Bay today...be careful out there!
Are they really thinking of changing the dates?????
Yesterday I spoke to a friend of mine that works for marine island service out of shep browns and he told me that they are working on 6-mile island 8 to 10 inchs all the way from shep browns. Still though be carefull.
Derby is a go... No changes in dates... Plenty of ice.. Be careful near moving water and under bridges but 8-10 inches all over and growing deeper.. Bring the Augers this year..
