Lead core rods

Ok I was wondering what action rod I need for the 18 lb lead core set up I'm putting together.My buddy just got the 2 CV30CS reels from ebay that yoAdrien suggested I haven't seen them yet but I have been told they are nice.So I need your input on type of rods,Like lenght,action make or any thing else you can tell me.Thanks in advance.
