Fished the derby with my dad in the 14 foot boat, which does well but it got a little hairy on Saturday cutting across the witches with the 4 foot rollers. Over all we boated 17 salmon and 7 lake trout largest salmon 2.92 and laker 23" didn't enter the laker, thought it had to be 24", oh well. Also found out the hard way that you can only win one prize a day if you enter two fish so, next year I'll pass the rod. I had a nice fish up against the boat on Sunday at least 22" but my Father isn't the fastest with the net and it shot up in the air and almost fell in the boat but spit the hook. All fish but one made it back in the water but one was hooked in the eye but tasted good.
