I believe I heard you during the derby say you had one of the new HDS Lowrance systems. I have the HDS 7 and have been waiting on the software upgrade. Well it finally hit the Lowrance site on 5/15/09; I have downloaded the upgrade onto an SD card and have upgraded my HDS 7 along with a few of my buddies who have the HDS 5.
Anyhow the upgrade went well and the HDS is now what I had hoped for.
The reason I'm calling you is to see if you need to use the SD card to download to your unit? It sates on the web that one download is good for multiple and all HDS units.
Just not sure if you have the capability of downloading onto an SD card, I know I had to buy additional hardware for my computer to do so.
