hey folks, looking at maybe trying merrymeeting lake now,,would like to try a new body of water,, can anyone pass on some advice on this place ?? whats the quality of fish in there ?? i see it has lakers/salmon/rainbows ..i use leadcore only . any advice will be greatly appreciated .

Spent mothers day on this lake with the ladies. they caught fat rainbows and did well with lead core & flies trolled at 4 colors. Plenty of deep water and drop offs. launch is adequate but tight near dam, parking around the corner above the town beach and walk, no place to tie up if your alone. Worth the visit.
