Hoping to fish somewhere to Brookies or Browns, and wanted to try a new some new places with my boat, which has a 50 hp motor!! Very interested. Does anyone have any suggestions of any lakes or ponds with these species? Hoping to go in the morning, so any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
Webster Lake Franklin. Is stocked with Browns.Never tried it. Shallow lake not sure about boat ramp. Alway wanted to try it have never gotten there. Also highland lake . Andover has brook trout. Just up the street from Webster lake. Don't know how far you want to travel. Again never tried Highland.
If your willing to travel there's Dublin lake down here in the Monadnock area. Its managed for Browns and Brookies, when your done there, take a 20 minute ride to Laurel lake in Fitzwilliam for more and bigger browns. Both have been very productive this year. Good Lucktpx9

If you are interested in Rainbows at all you might try Stinson Lake in Rumney - there are soime real good ones in there if you can snake one out. Lots of medium sized fish to keep you happy waiting for the big one. I troll it with a rigger, Orange DB with black spots of a Top Gun that looks like a Brown Trout. Another place in that neck of the woods is Lake Tarleton, which does have Browns, along with Lakers and Rainbows. You are likely to be the only one fishing Tarleton or one of a very few.
