We fished Champlain Friday, Saturday, and this morning in the derby. The fishing was not as fast as we have seen it. The average of the Lake trout for us was smaller. Twenty six Lake trout and only four in the eight pound class. Lena caught a 4.9 lbs Walleye, and our team mates landed a huge lake trout at 13.55. This was good enough to put us into 1st place till sometime Sunday morning. We ended up finishing in 3rd place for the teams division. The derby lake trout record was broken with a weight of 15.10 lbs (wow). If that occurs (it will) during the LCI in two weeks it will be worth $27,000. We will be going up for the LCI trying our best, good luck. Roland
Wow that's pretty impressive, the guy that got the biggest laker also got the biggest salmon. Some people always have the luck. Take Care God Bless LOL Dave
