Left Portsmouth harbor around 6:00 a.m. with Thomas & friend Dennis. Started looking for bait at 2 KR, the influx of blues has made them scarce. Tried a few places on the way out to the Isle of Shoals without luck. At the Shoals, we found plenty of macks and some harbor pollack. Flew down to the Merrimack. Plenty of action with both stripers and blues. Caught 4 good size keepers, including Dennis' 40" give or take, no time to measure, the action was so hot. At the end of tide, we went outside a ways and did some ballooning. {Matty knows where to go!} We caught the rest of the keepers we were allowed and back to the dock by 3:30. Ocean was one to two's and weather was great!
