Anyone know of a place in NH or MA that does rod repair. A friend of mine busted up the guides on his expensive surf casting rod. He is looking for someone to profesionally replace the guides quickly before stripper season ends.
I use Paul Tougas in Salisbury. He has completely rebuilt a couple rods for me that my Dad gave me years ago. New cork, everything. He's got a good eye for it, he even went with the retro guides, I love it. He's done small stuff for me too, never been disapointed in price or result. He's actually the one that used to do work for Kay at Surfland, not sure if he still does. I did a search and a couple came up however, you may have to do a little detective work.
