I have a Tracker V16 (same style as salmonitis starcraft) and I was considering adding a bimini top on it. It has downriggers off the back and rod holders to the sides. Not sure if it would be worth the shade and keeping dry or would it just be in the way? Any thoughts?

I have a Tracker pro Guide 16SC. I use a bimini. Mine is 46" high I believe. When I have it up I don't clip the rear straps, that way when I get a fish I can just flip the top foward to get it out of the way. I can stand up under the top but, fighting a fish with it up is not the easiest, it can be done though. I can send you a picture of mine with the downriggers and top installed if you would like.
