On the water by 4:30 am.Brought 2 coworkers Les and Josh they have only shorefished and fairchase Jerry also tagged along.Interesting day to say the least.Nonstop action until 11 am.Everytime it was Josh's turn there would be some kind of cluster occur.We ended up calling it the Josh effect,everytime the fish was brought in he would wrap it around a downrigger cable or another line,but somehow we always managed to boat the fish,by the end of the day we were clearing everything out of his way when it was his turn LOL We boated 21 fish about even numbers of salmon and lakers with 1 rainbow we had about a dozen knockoffs with nobody home.most between 15 and 21 inch good quality fish.We kept 3,20 inch salmon for supper.Les did not bring one home because he got greedy and sent a 21 inch laker back and that one was his biggest for the day.White again ruled the day wonderbread on 7 colors of lead did very good,as did rasberry guide on 7 colors of lead.White and red dot db smelt at 40 ft on the rigger was hot hot hot,and white perch smelt gun at 32 feet on the rigger did very well.Our best day since the derby.see you on the pond.polebreaker
