Never flyfished the lake. Gonna wade around the island and by canoe. Looks like like plenty of trout, but seems like from this board they are all in deep water this time a year. Any chance I can catch some trout on surface flies. Any late season hatches going on? Any advice appreciated. thx.

Fish early AM or @ dusk, you'll be suprised where the fish are. Last year we caught one of our best salmon while suspending a worm for white perch (near shore, off a point)
