Fishing with my 7 yr. old grandson, Luke over last week-end @ Catalina Is., CA.
He can handle an open face spinning reel, cut squid,
bait up with anchovy/sardine, catch and release his
fish, ---all with no adult "help". Says he prefers circle hooks for live bait. He caught 21 calico bass, 2 sheepshead, and 1 halibut! Can't wait 'til he
can rig outriggers, DR's and marlin gear!
