The annual trip to Lake Ontario proved to be a lot of fishing and some catching. A group of 8 of a mix of RFPs and guest fished in 3 boats, arriving on Sunday and leaving Friday for a total fish count of 11. RFPs were White Cap the RFP Organizer, Salty, Easy Ed and Salmon Hunter and Gray Ghost, guest were Kirk, Todd and Eric. Sunday and Monday no fish caught, marked fish and bait at various depths no takers, Tuesday, started to pickup fish in the following days. No early morning bite but the evenings bite an hour before sunset was the most productive time. The fish seem to come up from their hiding places and were more aggressive. White Cap was the pool winner with a 23.5 lb king; several caught fish were in this size range. A 7# Walleye and Brown Trout were also in the mix.
