Rivers have different rules as we know.

To help settle a dispute betwen two of us.

NH Rivers are closed to fishing from October 15th. to December 31st but re-open January 1st. Now some of these rivers are fed by Salmon lakes so there are Salmon in them.

Can you fish for Salmon or other species in these rivers when aeason is open ???

I say yes, but Salmpn have to be released immediatly from October 1st to March 31st.

You can keep trout but not salmon starting Jan 1st.

Better check the rule book. Different rules for some rivers. The Winnipesaukee river for example.
