Last summer when fishing slows to near zero on Squam we bought a Rod Pumper from Jim's Lures. We fished 6 lines most of the summer and consistantly caught fish, "all" fish came off the rod pumper, the other lines remained quite all summer.
That was proof enough for me so we bought a second rod pumper, both pumpers consistantly produced fish with realslow conditions, the other lines, nadda.
That said we realize the importance of keeping your bait moving so late summer we addded the G2 Jiggers, now all our lines produced bites the rest of the season.
Jim makes them to order but may have a couple on hand, pricey (but well worth it) I think he gest 550.00 each, but he gives a 100.00 off the pair if yu buy two.

Word from Jim a few days ago is he's retireing soon from making pumpers, etc. so he has more time to fish, so if you are interested, contact him soon.
found a good trick with the pumper this summer, attach a clip on some line to the end of the handle on the pumper rod and clip that to the line on the rod set straight back in another holder. two lines jigging per rod pumper. should work really well with the long lines in the spring, will have 4 rods pumping away off the two jiging boxes, outside rods will have big jigging action with the inside rods with a shorter jigging action.
