open eye siwash hooks, get a size or two bigger than the treble your replacing. usually i cut the bad treble off when the get too bent then pinch the new open eye on with pliers, easier than messing with ring pliers

Eagle Claw has siwash hooks in nickel and red. The nickel number is 210, the red is L210R. Sizes are from 8 to 8/0. Most are available in 50 packs.

I use VMC and Gamakatsu. Usually use the open eye. Sometime's it's hard to find them. You just need to be SURE you crimp it closed all the way.

Cabelas sells VMC. I use size 2 on Top Guns, size 4 on MLW, and 6 on DB's.
Also KTP sells Gamakatsu.

I just changed all my trebles over to siwas hooks made by Gamakatsu. Size 4 for Topguns, mooselook and db's...size 6 for guide's specials and 8's for little guides. All the research and review reading I did led me to gamakatsu.
