As of this morning Alton Bay had ice just past Sandy point all the way out and around over to Wolfeboro Bay. Not sure about tonight cause I came home that way and it was dark but I doubt that ice is gone. Broads were open. Heard there was still some ice going into Meredith Bay this morning but didn't see it myself. There is plenty of open water.

Today's paper says there is still ice from Little Mark Island to Sandy Point in Alton Bay and a couple other areas. Emerson is predicting the ice will be out by this weekend and it will be only the third time since they started keeping records that the ice will be out in March. I am ready to fish.
