Fishing partner was a no show so I kicked one of the kids out of bed and made him come with me to drive the boat while I set up.We put in in meridith,water was not to bad considering the gale force wind driven snow????There is just something wrong with fishing in may in a snow storm so after the (kid) boated his 3rd fish(2 salmon 1 laker)we left the water.He said he was cold?Maybe it was me???lol.Laker was 21 inches,salmon was short but fat 14 inch and a healthy fat 18 inch.All were released to get bigger.1 salmon came off wonderbread spoon at 2 colors of lead and the other 2 came off black stripe copper with copper back db smelt at 20 feet on the rigger.polebreaker
Tried fishing for an hour this morning with my son. Cold wind, sleet, rain and snow finally drove us off. No bites. Now home sitting by the fire watching my son catch fish after fish on the Wii. He's happy!
