I'm looking for information on the history of William Douglas(1560)who married
Janet Tennard (born 1564) in Dunfermline Fife Scotland, their daughter was Margaret who married Robert Allan. ...Does anyone know anything about these
people? I cannot find any information other than their names and dates...I'm assuming they did not make an important splash in history other than being in a genealogy thread to me for I can't find anything on them.....thank you for your time.

William Douglas was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland Abt 1560.
He married Janet Tennard Abt 1585 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland . Janet Tennard was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland Abt 1564 .
They were the parents of Margaret Douglas, christened 16 Oct 1586. She married Abt 1612 at of Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland, Robert Allen who was born in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland Abt 1585. They has 6 children:
Isobell Allen christened 25 Jul 1613.
Bessie Allen christened 2 May 1615.
Robert Allen christened 22 Jan 1618.
Andro Allen christened 30 Jan 1620.
Janet Allen christened 26 Aug 1621.

Yes, thank you, I do have this information. This is all the information I can find on this couple. William,Janet and their daughter are my only link in to Clan Douglas......Again thank you for responding...Katy
