I am trying to trace my Douglas line back to Scotland. The Emigrant was William Douglas, who lived in New Kent County in Virginia USA. He married Elizabeth Christian. They are my 5th great-grandparents. I would appreciate and help determining which line they are. Thanks!
Although I can find no direct links between the Christian and the Douglas families there are almost certainly are some.
"The History and genealogy of the Christian family, 1643-1850" lists no Douglases, but some of this family are in the Douglas Archives, so a link will be there somewhere - maybe an uncle or sister-in-law.
