Robert Douglas, born 1611, went to Sweden and was successfull as an officer in the Swedish army. He ended his career as a fieldmarshal. Since then the Swedish part of the Douglas family has grown considerably. You may find many details in my home page www.godouglas.se Good hunting! Gustaf O Douglas
