Looking for info on James Douglas immigrated to Virginia before 1804
I'm looking for info on my ggggg grandfather James Douglas. He immigrated to Virginia from Scotland before 1804. Wife's name was Mary. They had a son; David Douglas in Virginia in 1804. They settled in Ohio in Athens county 1819. James died around 1836. David married a Sally/Sarah Kersey/Carsey whose family moved from New Jersey to Ohio. I would like to be able to link James up with his family, or at least place of origin in scotland.
