My sister, Donna and I are going through papers our late mother left us. Eleanor and her siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles were avid genealogy detectives and mom gathered a lot of paper and notes and histories of the family here in Canada and their connection to Scotland.
I am curious to know what to do with this information as it is a bit overwhelming but there are census records. genealogy trees and many stories and pictures. I value this immensely and would like to 'do right' by my mom and honour her passion for her family tree.
Is there a suggestion as to where to start? I will, when I can get some time, begin entering what I can into this archive over the next while, as a start. Any suggestions would be welcome.
