A Fast Pitch Message Forum For Idaho
This forum should be used for all fast pitch softball coaches, parents, players, and instructors in Idaho to do the following:
PLAYERS (No player should post directly on this forum: NEVER give out your personal information to anyone over the internet, NEVER agree to meet anyone you don't know by yourself.
PARENTS NEED TO POST ON BEHALF OF THEIR ATHLETE AND DEAL WITH ALL CORRESPONDENCE):
1) Post "in search of teams" for a particular age group.
2) Post a need for instructors
3) Discuss issues pertaining to Idaho softball
COACHES:
1) Post for position needs on your team or organization
2) Post for tournaments or friendlies
3) Post game/tournament results
4) Discuss issues pertaining to softball
VENDORS AND INSTRUCTORS:
Feel free to advertise on this forum
PARENTS:
1) Post questions regarding softball and ask for advice
2) Help your child look for a team, or instructor
FINAL KEY POINTS:
1) Include first and last names on your postings (remember that your IP address is visible and can be used to track you)... Anonymous postings will be deleted from now on
2) Negative or inappropriate posts WILL be deleted. It is especially inappropriate to single out individuals.
3) Again, be sure that your child does not correspond directly with anyone on this or any other forum. Parent should always act as the "agent" for their child

Do you have a team or player that wants to do Fall Softball (8U-14U)???
Nampa Babe Ruth Softball is hosting Fall Softball for 8U (35 mph machine pitch) thru 14U and is opening it up to all organized or combined teams in the area. Games will start after Labor Day and run through most of October with all games being played on Saturdays.
For individual teams the only thing that will need to be paid is flat registration fee of $35 per team. Coaches will need to provide proof of coach’s certification and that their players have current medical coverage for 2012 through their league or association. Pitching distances are consistent with ASA 10U and 12U with the exception of 14U which is 43 ft. With a few exceptions ASA and Babe Ruth rules are the same. We are also still taking individual registration for the Nampa Babe Ruth teams through Monday the 6th and have a walk-in registration at the Nampa Rec Center on the 6th from 6pm-8pm.
