Re: Re: Darwinian nature worship?

Dear Trojan Dave... may I say how misguided you are in your assumptions. Nowhere in the NT does Jesus appear as a Terrorist....Sopme of his disciples where infact dissidents but Jesus himsself spake against this way of doing policy. Jesus indeed had a Jewish agenda and there is not denying that Paul rearranged his teachings to fit in with the Greeks.... That is called contextualizing.... Now talking about M. Mcgee....truly a learned man... a learned man that has little or no logic.... He may quote from very obscure sources but he still wrestles to get his message right... Contradicting himself several times on the way..... It is not his fault... he has no real training in any type of Social science so his limited scientific training doesn't allow him to see under the crust.... But to be fair..some of his insights are remarkable...but thats it... no real depth of thought... Looks like he is trying to invent the wheel in some of his conclusions.... I hope he reads this....

You are talking a load of crap. This is what the bible tells us:

Jesus was a militant Jewish nationalist whose disciples (mainly bodyguards) were a bunch of cut-throats; he wanted to be king of a re-united Israel; he was only here for the Jews; for non-Jews he had utter contempt; he and his disciples beat up people who were a danger to his cause; he drove out "demons" by physical beatings to the point of death; he and his followers killed the Roman garrison at Jerusalem; his chief bodyguard and henchman Simon Peter was a double murderer. Jesus advocated "turning the other cheek" ONLY amongst his own followers - all others were fair game for murdering.

As for the Old Testament: it is the most pornographic book ever compiled where every evil thing - from child abuse to genocide - is condoned, nay, COMMANDED by the Israelite god-of-war Jahweh.

You Jews and Christians worship this Superman and/or this terrorist/freedom-fighter. SHAME ON YOU!

I was quite sickoned when i first visited this sight the other night and read a couple of posts. The first, by Robert Nairn, telling us how much he hates Christians, Jews, and Moslems saying they have such a violent history. But in reality, true Christianity has no history of violence at all. People have committed violent acts in the name of Christianity, no doubt, but these are not supported by the Christian faith at all. The crusades, for example, were the work of the catholic church, which itself does not follow what the bible teaches hardly at all.

If you say "that doesn't matter, they were still Christians, thus all Christians are bad" then what prevents me from saying this. Hitler and his Nazis belief that Aryans were the superior race and so the lesser races should be wiped out, namely the Jews (as Robert seems to hate as well I might add), came from a foundational Darwinian belief that we are all animals in the first place. So, using Roberts same line of reasoning, if the Nazis were bad and they were also darwinists, then all Darwinists are bad. And even if all Darwinists aren't bad, then at least Darwinism itself is evil, since it helped caused the holocaust.

I also read another message that we should all give up on our belief in Jesus because the answer to love is Nature worship! What idocy is this? He says that Jesus is the idol of Christianity. W=Maybe we should get our facts straight before telling people who Jesus is to a Christian. Jesus is no ones idol. Christians believe he is God incarnate. So if they worship him, they are simply worshipping their God. The same God as the Jews. But NOT the same God as the Muslims. The God of Islam originated from the Jewish God, but they have change him so much that it is no longer the same God.

Besides that, it is against God himself to worship nature. It is actually the exact opposite of what god teaches us we should do. But hey, if you wanna bow down to a pig and worship it as your idol, go ahead. Or is the universe as a whole your god? And if we can worship nature, why don't we just worship each other? or even ourselves? Who needs God, right?

And in case all you hard-done-by Darwinists haven't noticed in the past, the Christians are NOT the ones persecuting you or anyone else. It is the christians who are beiong persecuted. Look it up. Tens of thousands of Christians are murdered every year, especially in the east, mostly by Muslims, simply because of their faith. Not because they are attacking Islam. Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world. I bet the second most in Judaism. But I guess to you that would seem your nature God was simply eleminating the problem, right? It certainly won't stop with you.
