I am really tired of all these websites talking only about the woman getting abused. I was one of those women so I am completely empathic with those issues. But men are ALSO, or have been, in relationships that are abusive to them and they feel isolated, weak, stupid, etc. because there is zero place for them to go or have a place in society where it is safe for them to go.
Can you imagine a very kind 6'2" man battered try to get help at an abuse meeting or hotline? Can you imagine that, just like women, they stay in abusive relationships for years for all the same reasons women do, only abused MEN have no place to go.
If anyone knows anything different than this, where someone could direct someone to go, please leave that message for me. Thank you.
