Hi there, I love your site, it's very informative and lots of fun. Anyway. . . I am currently recording my own music in a studio I have built myself . I have got hold of a handheld dictaphone, and a bigger playback machine. Both use microcassettes. I will be using them for studio and live performance, and I wondered if you had any useful advice for me. I also use a digital sampler, but I like the sound of analogue tape: it's warm and flawed. Are there any good tricks you could share from your experience? If anyone else reading this can help, I will radiate love from London onto your beautiful foreheads.
