He won't move his things

I have exclusive rights of the family home although it is deeded Tenants in common due to an outstanding equity line. He moved out early May into a friends home. Our MSA was filed and accepted by the courst July 16th and our disolutionment will be final august 12th. He has not even begun to move any of his personal belongings out inspite of a letter and conversation where I said we neded to make a plan for this. Basically he is stalling on this. I want to be empathetic and sympathetic to the fact that he is leaving the home he lived in for many years; but I want his stuff out and want to move on. What are my rights?

Re: He won't move his things

You will need to get a court order, or include it in your disolution that "he has xx many days to remove his belongings from the residence and after that date you are free to dispose of the items as you deem fit"
If he is still not moved out of the due date dispose of his belongings.

Re: He won't move his things

It's amazing how fast they will come if they see a dumpster in your yard. My ex refused to get his belongings as well, He was to remove them before I moved back into the home, they were all there when I got to the house so I started the calls, from August to December, then got tired of it and rented a dumpster.
