If you don't have family to help you, you should look into being declared indigent and enter a government paid nursing home.

I am so sorry you are finding yourself in this position. I have a great deal of compassion for you. Going through divorce is so difficult under all circumstances.
At 70 it must be especially stressful to face the prospect of being on your own and the challenge of supporting yourself financially. What options have you explored regarding any community or government programs that help to care for seniors? Searching on-line for programs like that is where I would start. Is your divorce final? Are you sure your are not entitled to any maintenance?
