Allot of them are jerks. My former spouse is a major jerk. I could go on and on and on and on about that and give examples but I won't. Suffice to say allot of men think it is all about them. Some of them never grow up or do the right thing. Ever.
There are some really nice men out there. I have a friend who is so good to his ex wife despite her being a beast. My BF is very very good to his ex-wife who in my opinion has no clue how wonderful he is and how much he does for their children and how much he pays for the extras without even being asked. She would not last a month if she were in my situation. Some women never grow up or do the right thing either I guess.
So yes there are some jerks--male and female. The good thing is that I am not responsible for my old jerk anymore. Yippee!
I have a cousin who pays support on a daughter he KNOWS is not his, he has raised her since birth and NO ONE will ever tell him she is not his. The courts told him that he did not have to pay but he does. It cost him 1500 a month and he said to me once. Money is nothing when it come to her, she is my world and I want her to know she is the center of Daddy's world" His ex moved out of state and he hasn't heard form his daughters in 2 months..he can't afford an attorney
Now HE is a man, even bigger shock, he was 21 when his wife left him. Just a baby and yet he is responsible. My Aunt did a great job raising him...hope my boys turn out NOTHING like their father.
Isn't it scary raising the boys and worrying that their jerk father is their male role model? Trying to instill the right values without bashing "Daddy" is really hard sometimes.
