Ok i know i'm probably doing this on the wrong site but i have a major question.
I wanna switch to online schooling. My mom is still receiving my child support even though i'm almost 18 being since i'm still in high school in the 10th grade (yes i know i got held back.. it sucks) but if i switched to online schooling, would she still receive my child support until i graduate?

My South Dakota attorney told me that child support stops at 18, or if the child is in still in school it continues until he graduates. It discontinues at 19 regardless of school status. It doesn't seem to me that it would matter where the schooling is coming from, but I'm not an expert.
