I have a question concerning child support and receiving food stamps. I have not been receiving the court ordered child support because of my exhusband being incarcerated. He is out now and we are going to court in a month, because he has not made a payment since he has been released and he is not complying with the job search that was ordered when he got out. My question is, am I going to have to pay back food stamps when I start receiving the child support? I am not getting cash assistance only food stamps. But they figured out the amount that I get by my income, not including the support (since he was not required to pay while in jail).
