Im in the process of taking my first real step to ending my marriage with my husband. Its not that he's a bad person but he has a lot of mental issues, to the point where his depression over runs the household. I have a 2 yr old with him and its just so hard staying with someone who is so negative who never has "a bright side" to look forward to. I'm still young and i feel confident and willing to try new things and i feel it is best to leave. the sad part is that i carry so much guilt because i've dedicated these last 6 years taking care of him like a mother would and this just isnt the role i want to play the rest of my life.
