Here is a good one my neighbor just sent me this morning. Becky: This is a good one for your last post.

The Mom Test:

A four year old girl and her mother were out taking a walk and the young girl picked up something from the ground and began to put it into her mouth. Her mother quickly told her to never put anything in her mouth like that because she did not know where it came from or what could have been in or on the item.

The girl looked up at her mother and asked how her mother knew all about things like this and her mother jokingly replied, because it is on the Mom Test. Her daughter then asked, "What is the Mom Test" and her mother replied, "It is all the things a mother should know about being a good mom. You have to pass this test to become a mom."

The girl was quiet as they walked along and pondered on what her mother had told her. She then stated, "Oh, I get it.....If you fail the test then you have to be the Dad." Exactly, her mother said, smiling to herself.

Not sure even where to begin with a book, but it is a goal I do not want to put on the back burner for to long because we never know where life will lead us. Thanks for asking. Glad I gave you a laugh. I did the same thing after my neighbor sent it to me. I think God gives us all gifts to share at the times we need them most and he knows that we women know how to comfort each other and share things as well.

Dear Susan, As always a most thoughtful story. You have a gift. Your words are poetic to us all. I think you can do alot of good in this world if you share more of your wisdom through your beautiful words. A book would really benefit so many who need comfort. There is a way about you Susan which has a healing effect on us all. Many times your words have lifted me up when I have been so down. I am a fan and hope that book happens soon.
