I am a retired neighbor trying to help a 38 year old Columbian women in the Dominican Republic.
Her husband and her moved to the DR about a year ago. They have 2 kids. He let her green card/visa retire while in the DR. Then he took the kids and left her here.
He is 60,has a new girlfriend in the USA after a few months now. She has little financial support. He plans to basically keep her here so she can't return to the USA for a divorce.
Can anyone suggest help for her. This is cruel and calculated. She is emotionally afraid and alone.
Please suggest some contacts if possible. They are married for 7 years and live in Boston.
