My husband and I had filed for divorce and seen the judge in May. I received an email from my attorneys assistant stating that my husband never signed the final divorce decree so, they issued a hearing for a force to finalize. My husband and I had gotten back together by then. The hearing was to be held on August 24th, my husband was in an ATV accident and passed away on August 19th. The lawyers went ahead with the hearing and declared us divorced and said now everything is finalized. Is that correct?
