Lost Loyalty

Hi Guys.. Ive been married for 7 years. When me n my husband reconnected he was at a low place. My love for him allowed me to share what i had & walk with him to get back on his feet including wiping away a huge amount of child support he owed me. As he began to accumulate worldly possessions he began spending more time with friends n work and no time building his marriage. After counseling personal pleas and feeling totally abandoned I decided to file for divorce. Many are saying if hes not cheating on me beating on me and he has a job I dont have grounds for divorce.
Do you guys agree or disagree???

Re: Lost Loyalty

I disagree. He's not meeting your need for affection. Alienation of affection. Nor is he spending quality time with you. Sounds like he's taking you for granted and not placing you as a priority. Check the laws in your state.

Re: Lost Loyalty

I disagree. My ex wasn't coming home until 9 or 10 p.m. from the start of the marriage. My Lawyer had another client whose spouse had been doing this and they ended things. Where I live it's called "irretrievable breakdown of the marriage" means the marriage cannot be fixed and is grounds for divorce.
