Where do I find someone who can give me advice that understands emotional long term abuse.

My husband of 15 plus years is hoping I will die before we divorce. Where can I contact someone who can help me get through this who understands abuse, and trauma. My attorney does not return my calls since the virus
I lost my home in a wildfire, now live in a city where I have one friend who is worse off than I am. No children just animals, no family. I am a smart 72 year old, but I am so afraid of not being able to feed my animals. I have lost my health because of the stress I have been subjected these last years and the past. He was uncomfortable with me expressing my grief so I was not allowed to express my grief.

Hi Lisa,
I am sending you all the love and strength you need to face the situation you are in, right now.

According to what you are saying, you are not in a safe place, and maybe that is the first thing to focus on.

If you contact me, and if you want, I can help you find a safer place, wherever you are.

Even if you just need to talk, contact me here.

Love and hugs!

I completely understand. I was in a loving but toxic relationship for 20+ years on and off, married for 6. He was horribly emotionally and financially abusive the last 3-4 years. Your not alone

Abuse is much more common than you think-are you in California since you mentioned wildfires? There are some wonderful attorneys there that are experienced with abuse.
