I am planing to get married In one year but I am not sure if I want to get married To my fiancé of 2 years 🤷🏻♀️The reason why is the way he treat his elderly father age 83 without any respect :(
To me he has been good so far so good but I am afraid once I get married he will treat me with no respect too.
He yell at him, he says why he watch the same channel 24/7 which is all daily news, he tells his father yelling “leave me alone”. I really feel sad I cannot ever disrespect my parents the way he is 😡
I would say to listen to your heart and your head. If you are having doubts, then listen to them.
It doesn't get better just because you get married. Being married is hard and stressful, having a family is hard and stressful - you want to make sure you are making these choices with the right person.
I would suggest pre-marriage counseling to talk about some of these issues and other issues that may come up. If he won't go, then that tells you something too.
