Find a shelter in your hometown and seek counsel with them. They can help ensure you stay safe and may be able to point you to resources that will guide you in filing, etc. Keep it to yourself and get your ducks in a row.

Yes, I agree find a woman's shelter and find a therapist. I would not say anything to him about my plans. You absolutely don't need to spend your remaining years, as it goes by so quickly, with someone that stresses you and you are afraid of. I am 70 and going through the same except I am not afraid of potential bodily harm from him.

I am afraid of him with his outburst and I know he will not bodily harm me but you never know
