Sounds a very unequal ‘relationship.’ Not many paid workers would (or should) put up with being verbally abused, feeling like they are walking on eggshells and afraid to talk openly, let alone an unpaid carer as his wife. You don’t owe this person anything. How can you ‘love’ someone who shouts at you/is angry towards you? That’s not reciprocal love-that’s actually abuse :(
