My husband filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage and wants 50-50 for child custody. He was emotionally and verbally abusive and though I feel relief sometimes now, I am also panicking about the future. Any advice? We have an 8 year old daughter that still needs me a lot. The schedule that he wants is 2-2-5 and I am worried about the long weekend (5 days) where she isn't with me. Do you have any experience with that? She also has older siblings.
