I was married for 28 years. I asked for the divorce. We've been divorced for 5 years. I'm just now going through the pains of the divorce because each year of the 5 we've been divorced we dated 6 months, 8 months, 2 months and soforth. He is now in a serious relationship and recently told me he loves me but no longer in love. I am devastated. I'm full of regret. I have not dated anyone. The grief is almost unbearable. Anyone date ex on and of after divorce?

Late to respond. I didn’t date the ex but we remained good friends and I was hopeful that he still loved me.

I’ve just found out that he doesn’t, he is in love with someone else and has introduced her to the kids. I’m devastated.
